Signed on and checked the dashboard to see if anyone has updated their blogs. For three weeks I've been checking but no updates! I was so sad. I LOVE to read updates and know how I can pray for the people I know and hear about other families. Tonight I signed on and suddenly my dashboard was overflowed with THREE weeks of updates. Funny.. they were written over the three weeks but blogger has them marked as JUST UPLOADED 4 HOURS AGO! So apparently Ya'll have written three weeks of blogs in the past four hours.
So Life is crazy.
I spent two hours doing laundry in the tub and praised God for having a tub and running water.
I hooked up the hose to the sink to drain the dishwasher and thanked God I had a dishwasher to need hooking up to work.
I served leftovers again and Praised God for food to eat
I gave medication to the two sick kids and feed the screaming baby thanking God that my three children are alive and in my life.
I had a few moments for Bible Study and Praised God for His living Word to speak to me through.
I watched the wind blow the trees and pecans fall Thanking God for walls for protection.
I put on a sweater because I am cold and Praised God for clothes.
I spent 3 minutes on the phone with my husband and Thanked God he has a job now.
I put on the SAME movie for the 1,000 time for the kids and Praised God that we have a luxury like TV
I set the pot for Coffee and Thanked God for the ability to have a hot cup!
I swept the floor from all the dust and Thanked God it wasn't a floor of dirt.
The days here can get so hard with all that is broken, with all that isn't working. For all we don't have, for all that we want. That I just wanted to Thank God for the things He has given.
Ryan is working until 9pm tonight..an early shift. Then works his 3-11 or 12am shift. Next week he does his own hours but we are praying. He was given only 33 hours to work on (instead of the 40 we had needed/planned on) and have him working Sunday morning which he made VERY clear he was NOT available to work. So now Ryan is going to stand for his faith.. I don't work Sunday morning so give me other hours or I will call out that day. So we trust God with providing.
We need to go grocery shopping tomorrow so we are going to "bomb" the house." We have a collection of fleas and dust mites in the house so we are clearing out. Going to the laundry mat and groceries while the house is bombarded with chemicals to kill the pests. Then Ryan will be entertaining the Three Stooges (as I call the kids) while I clean up. After all those chemicals and three young kids who stick things in their mouths the house will need a wipe down. So Ryan's day off tomorrow will be very busy.
I can't stay too long and blog or update.
Love ya!
